Welcome to Hong Kong, a city that somehow manages to feel electric and peaceful, chaotic and calming, all at once. I spent four unforgettable days here diving headfirst into the buzz of the city, riding ferries between neighbourhoods, wandering neon-lit streets, and discovering just how easy it is to mix big-city energy with nature escapes. Hong Kong is the kind of place where skyscrapers and hiking trails coexist beautifully and I was instantly obsessed.

One of my favourite surprises was how outdoorsy Hong Kong is. Within the same trip, I tackled scenic hikes to Victoria Peak for sweeping skyline views and took on the rewarding climb up Lantau Peak, where misty mountain views made the early wake-up completely worth it. These hikes offered a totally different side of the city and were the perfect balance to days spent exploring markets, neighbourhoods, and waterfront promenades.

And then there was the food – honestly, a highlight in itself! From classic Cantonese dishes to must-try street snacks, I ate my way through Hong Kong with zero regrets. Pineapple buns fresh from the bakery, crispy egg waffles on the go, endless dim sum… it’s a dream destination for food lovers. To top it all off, I celebrated my birthday at Hong Kong Disneyland, which added a little extra magic to an already incredible trip.

Below you’ll find all my Hong Kong blog posts – from city guides and hikes to food finds and Disney fun – to help you plan your own adventure to this wildly exciting destination. Whether you’re here for the skyline, the trails, the eats, or a bit of everything, Hong Kong truly delivers.
