As soon as you walk through the gates of USJ, you’ll be greeted by the iconic Universal globe and the glamorous vibes of Hollywood Boulevard. This entrance area sets the tone with its classic art deco buildings, retro music, and souvenir shops packed with movie-themed merch.

The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

If you’re a Harry Potter fan, you’ll want to make a beeline for this magical section. The attention to detail here is spellbinding – from the snow-capped rooftops of Hogsmeade to the towering silhouette of Hogwarts Castle.

Hogwarts Castle + Forbidden Journey

Inside the castle lies Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey, one of the most immersive rides ever created. Fly alongside Harry, dodge Dementors, and explore iconic scenes from the books and films. This is a must-do, even if you’re not a Potterhead.

Hogsmeade Village Vibes

Wander the cobbled streets of Hogsmeade, pick out a wand at Ollivanders, and sip a frothy Butterbeer or pumpkin juice. Don’t forget to stop for lunch at Three Broomsticks, where you’ll find hearty British fare in a cozy, wizarding setting.

Jurassic Park: Thrills and Dinosaurs

Next, head to Jurassic Park, where giant dinosaurs and wild rides await.

Jurassic Park – The Ride

This classic water ride lures you in with a scenic tour… before chaos erupts. Think giant animatronics, surprise drops, and one very angry T-Rex. Prepare to get wet and have a blast!

The Flying Dinosaur

If you’re craving adrenaline, this is the park’s most intense rollercoaster. You’ll soar through the air face-down, like a pteranodon, twisting and looping at high speeds. It’s terrifying – and awesome.

Minion Park: Pure Chaos & Fun

Time to dial up the cuteness! Minion Park is a vibrant, silly, and super fun zone inspired by the Despicable Me films.

This AR-enhanced ride is unlike anything else. You’ll race Bowser, throw shells, and collect coins in real-time using augmented reality goggles. It’s competitive, fast-paced, and insanely fun!

Yoshi’s Adventure

For something more chill, hop on Yoshi’s Adventure – a family-friendly ride that takes you on a relaxing tour of the Mushroom Kingdom with great views and hidden surprises.

Eat Your Way Through Nintendo World

Food in Super Nintendo World is next-level cute and delicious.

Kinopio’s Café (Toad’s Café)

Try the Super Mushroom Pizza Bowl, shaped like an actual mushroom, or the ? Block Tiramisu – a must for dessert lovers. Every dish is themed and Insta-worthy.

Yoshi’s Snack Island

Treat yourself to the Green Shell Calzone, stuffed with yakisoba and cheese, and wash it down with a fruity Yoshi’s Lassi (choose mango or cantaloupe). Served in cups with Yoshi’s face on them – need I say more? #kawaii #oishii

How to Get Around Japan
Getting around Japan is incredibly easy once you figure out public transport. Public Transport in Osaka is super easy. Trains will be your go to – check times using Google Maps.

JR Pass (Japan Rail Pass)
If you’re planning to travel between multiple cities in Japan, the Japan Rail Pass can offer huge savings on long-distance train travel, including most Shinkansen (bullet trains). The pass allows unlimited travel on JR trains for a set period (7, 14, or 21 days) and must be purchased before arriving in Japan. It’s best value if you’re doing trips like Tokyo–Kyoto–Osaka–Hiroshima–Sapporo, but may not be worth it for shorter or city-only itineraries, where individual tickets or IC cards are cheaper.
